Swim Instructor Jobs

Candidate qualifications needed are:

• Looking for a rewarding job that doesn't feel like work

• Loves working with babies and children of all ages

• Passionate about swimming and water safety

• 15 years or older

• Able to swim (somewhat) all strokes (front stroke/freestyle, back stroke, breast stroke, butterfly)

• Experience with teaching swim lessons (not required)

• Available to work 2 to 5 days a week, and able to be in the sun and pool for up to 4 hours at a time.

• Able to get to the pool location on time

• Enthusiastic and flexible to new challenges

• Respond well to corrections and feed back

Swim Instructor Training:

• We will fully train you to teach

• You will observe lessons being taught by an experienced instructor for 20 hours

• You will have hands on experience of real lessons for an addition 20 hours with an experienced instructor

• You will then get classes of your own to teach solo

Swim Instructor Pay:

• Training starts at $10 per hour

• After training pay is $15 per hour

• Experienced instructors pay is $15-$20 per hour

• Payday is every other Friday

• Direct Deposit pay

• Pay raises based on performance and time worked
